About LISA
Lisa Rainford is a mother, teacher, and emerging local artist whose multiple roles in life are seamlessly integrated, each role informing and energising her understanding of what it means to live well. Her work is a meditation on place and identity. Her works are both deeply personal and easily accessible to the viewer, and applaud the traits of strength and courage and boldly acknowledge the palpable energy of history that inhabits places and people.
She lives and paints on the traditional lands of the Wodi Wodi people in the foothills of Mt Keira - the grandmother mountain. She paints at her kitchen table, drawing purpose and energy from the chaos and noise of family life in full flight.
Lisa invites viewers to share her artmaking journey on Instagram.
